Every Cyvex Nutrition ingredient is guaranteed by its exclusive NutriPrint® quality assurance system for identity, safety and efficacy. NutriPrint® certification includes identity testing of incoming raw materials through FT-NIR, third party certification by independent laboratories for active ingredients, microbiology, heavy metal and pesticide testing, along with solvent residues when applicable.
Cyvex Nutrition’s industry leadership and innovation was demonstrated in 1988, when NutriPrint® was launched. NutriPrint® represented one of the first supplier-created QA protocols that emphasized identity testing. In 2007, Cyvex Nutrition received its c-GMP certification that is supported by its longstanding innovative proprietary quality assurance protocol, NutriPrint®. To ensure the identity and purity of all ingredients it sells above and beyond all analytical testing, Cyvex’ NutriPrint® employs sophisticated FT-NIR spectroscopy methods to scan a characteristic fingerprint on every shipment and every container.
NutriPrint® uses the technology and methods of cutting-edge pharmaceutical engineering, and the consistency of GMP, and applies them to the task of ensuring the quality of all our nutraceutical raw materials.
NutriPrint® was developed using the Bran + Luebbe InfraProver II, which was designed for exhaustive non-invasive batch testing that may be QC-cleared in minutes, allowable due to zero sample preparation: For example, bulk powders can be scanned directly through plastic bags or glass vials, as well as capsules and blister packs.
The FT-NIR in the NutriPrint® QC protocol also enables Cyvex to comply not only with the dietary supplement c-GMPs, but also with standards such as the food GMP and the pharmaceutical GMP.
