ANTI-AGING SOLUTIONS

In 1992, researchers showed that the French, despite higher incidence of smoking, less exercise and a diet relatively higher in fatty foods, had a lower incidence of heart disease, heart attack, and stroke. Known as the French Paradox, this phenomenon has been attributed to the European nation’s enjoyment of red wine. A whole red wine grape contains two primary components with antioxidant properties – flavonoids and trans-resveratol. Antioxidants have been shown to provide a number of anti-aging benefits such as weight control, cholesterol reduction, and cardio-protection.

In 1999, a human clinical study was conducted with BioVin® that showed significant increases in serum antioxidant levels. Proteins, DNA, and LDL were less damaged by free radical attack when BioVin® was added to the diet. This indicates that BioVin® is readily bioavailable, and is an effective free-radical scavenger in vivo.

Cyvex Nutrition has developed two ingredients with anti-aging benefits, BioVin® and BioVin® Advanced. Rich in these antioxidant components, the all-natural ingredients can play a vital role in the anti-aging process.
